Holiday Play Workers and Volunteers urgently needed

Are you a responsible, energetic and enthusiastic individual, creative about play? Can you easily relate to children and young people and ensure their safety and respect for each other as well as making sure they have fun?
Then we would like to hear from you!

The Action Group, Kidzcare, Lothian Autistic Society, FABB and The Yard have joined with the mission of delivering fun, friendly and exciting playschemes across 4 venues in Edinburgh during the school holidays, supporting children and young people with disabilities.

You can join these fun-packed play and leisure schemes run during school holiday weeks. Your job may be challenging but will be rewarding and will include being responsible for the children and their belongings, joining in the games, assisting with personal care and meals, an ongoing communication with the families and going on regular day trips.

The October playscheme runs for the October half-term week (13th - 17th), Mon-Fri, daytime hours in Edinburgh. Playworkers and Volunteers from the October scheme may also be invited to work on our playschemes run in February and Easter School holidays in 2015.

No previous experience is required for those seeking voluntary positions. And you also get an excellent opportunity to expand your childcare abilities and further your leadership and interpersonal skills.

Oh, and did we mention that you’d be helping some local children and young people to have The Best Holidays Ever…?
